Modify access to current or new/different Wi-Fi network
To modify access to the current Wi-Fi network that the Si-CAM device is currently setup to connect to, or to access a different network, your could diable the Wi-Fi network and restart the Si-CAM device which will force the Si-CAMcom_AP access point to become available for settings changes. However, a simpler/easier solution is...
- Cycle the Si-CAM device by: 1) Switch the power 'Off' (if not already); 2) Switch back 'On' for about 5 seconds; 3) Switch back 'Off' for about 5 seconds; Switch back 'On' and keep powered.
- Access the wifi network on your preferred device (Windows, MAC, Android or iOS) and select the "Si-CAMcom_AP" access point (it could take about 20 seconds to appear). View examples: Windows (add image), MAC (add image), Android (add image) or iOS (add image)
- You now have 120 seconds to either change the current Wi-Fi network connection credentials, or enter credentials for a different network. If timeout (120 secs exceeded) occurs before settings are successfully changed, the "Si-CAMcom_AP" will disappear and will need to be reactivated.
- If new/changed credentials have been successfully changed and saved, the Si-CAM device (e.g. "esp32s3-e657a2") will briefly (a second or so) connect the the appropriate Wi-Fi and then disconnect as the device restarts. The device should then automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network.
- Si-CAM should now be successfully connected.
